Too late(a short story)

Early in the morning
He rode his horse cart
At the back his wife sat
To the hospital he rode quickly
She was closing her eyes sickly
He began Then to talk While driving
And told her about her long suffering
She helped him at the farm
And endured all his harm
She did all the family work at home
She did Not complaint Or vendome
For the first time he told her about his love
On his feelings he put a thick glove
He has never told her a nice word
During her whole life which was So cold
Finally he reached the hospital
He carried her body that was purple
He realised now that She did Not hear his sweet talk
It was too late
She left that cruel world
She took Nothing But mistreatment
And left him to loneliness and indictment

  6. Sad poetic tale. There’s a lesson here for those who mistreat others. They’ll be left lonely and regretful. Life isn’t always fair. Hope the beautiful soul has found happiness in the afterlife. πŸ¦‹
