Physical Pain. 😔

Yesterday I had an accident.The result of that accident was a great pain in my right knee and in my right hand.

I use ointment and special medicine to help me to recover.

But the question is….

Which is more difficult..the physical pain or the spiritual pain.?????

I think the answer differs according to the character of each person.

For me the phsical pain is more difficult than the spiritual pain.

I do not like to depend on other people.I do not like to ask help from others.I do not like to feel that I am weak.

I hate physical pain a lot.But I have to admit that I am a human.

Allah makes us suffer from the physical pain to make us remember that we are not as strong as we think.We have to know that we are weak and that we are in a bad need of help from God.

Also, bad accidents happen to us to know that life is full of surprises..bad or good.

We live our life and we plan for every step…then surprises happen and all our plans are nothing in front of the will of God.

If life gifted you a catastrophic event…if you lost your health or your money…don’t think that this is the end…no…this is the start of another step…

We have to accept the pain…whether it is physical or spiritual.

But we should also try to overcome it…as much as we can.

Life goes on whether we endure the pain or not.

Prophet Ayyob was a rich man..he had a big family…sons and daughters….a lot of money…but at once he lost all that…moreover..he became sick with a severe disease…people of his town said cruel words about him.They said that he did a bad thing so that God punished him and took all the gifts from him.

The only person that he didn’t lose was his loyal wife.

He was patient.He didn’t care for the loss of his money or the loss of his sons and daughters.He didn’t care for his cruel disease.He didn’t care for the cruel talk of people.

He thanked God all the time although the pain of the loss was great.

But finally God rewarded him.And everything was lost was compensated by God again…his health..his family and his money.

Allah says.

Chapter 21 The Prophets سورة الأنبياء – Al-Anbiya: Verse 83

وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ وَأَنْتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ

And (remember) Job, when He cried to his Lord, “Truly distress has seized me, but Thou art the Most Merciful of those that are merciful.

فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهُ فَكَشَفْنَا مَا بِهِ مِنْ ضُرٍّ ۖ وَآتَيْنَاهُ أَهْلَهُ وَمِثْلَهُمْ مَعَهُمْ رَحْمَةً مِنْ عِنْدِنَا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِلْعَابِدِينَ

So We listened to him: We removed the distress that was on him, and We restored his people to him, and doubled their number,- as a Grace from Ourselves, and a thing for commemoration, for all who serve Us.
