The last scene..

After the movie had finished, I began to cry sadly..

I was about 10 years when I watched the story of the elephant man on the T.V.

The last scene was curved in my memory..

The elephant man returned home and was so happy..it was the happiest time in his life…it was the first time to receive such nice words in a party made for him…he committed suicide as soon as he went home.

The man used to hear bad words from people during his whole life..

That evening was the only day to hear good words from other people …

So he decided to commit suicide…he wanted that evening to be the last time for him in that cruel life…

I am against suicide of course but I understand his situation…

Anyway …what I wanted to say is that words can do much…words can change the world to better or worse…words visit the heart before the brain…

Allah says…

See you not how Allah sets forth a parable? – A goodly word as a goodly tree, whose root is firmly fixed, and its branches (reach) to the sky (i.e. very high).

25. Giving its fruit at all times, by the Leave of its Lord and Allah sets forth parables for mankind in order that they may remember.

26. And the parable of an evil word is that of an evil tree uprooted from the surface of earth having no stability.

  3. It’s very correct.. words can so much affect your mind and soul. As kids we are asked to read aloud so we can hear our voices and remember what we learn coz listening let us remember things..

    Similarly, when we hear bad words about our own self it kinda hits hard and demotivate, most of the time too many negativity make us feel that it’s true..

    So ya when u hear good words it’s hard to believe..

    Let us be careful in using our words, let not hurt but create confidence, love and care for others..

  10. Fabulous movie saw it with John Hurt in the role and he was amazing and as you say last scene reminds me of how the father felt when the son returned with the one talent and the father still killed the fatted calf as he was just pleased to see him happiness is so infectious just 😊

    Grown Cold From the Human Touch as this is particularly True for the
    Homeless who may Suffer Invisible Disabilities in Disfigurement of Soul..
    True.. the Homeless of the Soul i often Metaphor for True too.. the Physically
    Homeless on the Outside may be Rich Beyond all Metaphors Within now as
    A Poor
    Man who joins
    Hands with others
    Sleeping under a Bridge
    of Love that actually connects
    Folks Together in Flesh and Blood
    for the Ugliest of Life is on the opposite
    End of that Bridge the Empty Souls Without
    Touch for other Human HeARTS of Real.. alive..
    as LiFE.. SpiRiTS HiGHeR iN Essence with little Regard
    to Form.. True.. i try to keep in Mind in Heart in Soul that the
    Most Beautiful People on the Outside With the Most Riches of all
    on the outside too.. May be the Least Fulfilled oF aLL for all that may
    be as an Empty Human Within As Shell With No Sea Creature to Swim Further
    in an
    Ocean
    of Love
    Expanding Essence

    the Same for Your Coming Sunday too for i do remember Weekends are
    Work Days for you in Egypt as the Only Day off where You Work as a Teacher
    is Friday which seems like that would make life much more Demanding than
    Just Having Two Days off each week.. particularly raising two Children too but it’s
    true too as far as Elephant Men People go for
    Hard it is for those Folks with Functional
    Disabilities to connect to Folks in
    Flesh and Blood Life
    where online
    allows
    them to at least
    to connect in Pen Pal
    Words and truly you make a nice
    Pen Pal for me my FriEnd with Hopes
    that all Humans Find a way to connect
    to others for whatever Tools that takes to
    make it happen for real as real can Possibly Be
    For Love to Grow in even more Human Connections of Pure Love..:)
