Mary’s fasting…

When the great space becomes so small…when the open air has no oxygen…when words can not be spoken…when you explain but in vain…then your only outlet is to remain silent…silence is comfort sometimes….

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

فَكُلِي وَاشْرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيْنًا ۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ الْبَشَرِ أَحَدًا فَقُولِي إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ صَوْمًا فَلَنْ أُكَلِّمَ الْيَوْمَ إِنسِيًّا

26. “So eat, and drink, and be consoled. And if you see any human, say, ‘I have vowed a fasting to the Most Gracious, so I will not speak to any human today.’“

Mary Chapter..verse 26

  2. I think silence is often comfort. When I need comfort, I don’t want a lot of talk or noise. Another person’s presence can be comforting but they don’t need to say much. Nice post, Sohair. Cheers

    mY friEnd Sohair.. Room for Extraversion
    Room For Introversion Room For Religious
    And Spiritual Being and Room For Reason too
    And even Will and Strength in Women and
    Love and Grace in Men too.. Appreciating
    the Moonlit Night as Much as the Sunlight
    Morning too.. and the Cold that brings
    A Desire for more Hugs
    And the Warm that
    May Bring

    in LiFE that
    also allows
    Folks a Better Opportunity
    to get along much better than if
    the Muse of Life Goes Dry or to the
    Extreme of Overwhelming too.. but of course
    Mileage Varies.. Wear and Tear of Life.. Old and Young
    And General Propensities of Personality in both Nature
    And Nurture Ways of Being too.. So.. Life beComes an Art/Science
    Project For Us to Paint as the Brush too for a Greater MasterPeace
    Painting to be that We All Brush and Paint Greater toGeTHeR than
    Ever Before.. True.. A Prayer WiLL aLWays Be Positive For a Prayer that
    Works ToGeTHeR
    to BrinG
    Change
    that Works
    in all ways Prayers
    come from/to a Dance and or
    Song of Life that ReMaiNs Free
