​Islamic jurisprudence specifies which foods are halāl (حَلَال “lawful”) and which are harām (حَرَامْ “unlawful”). This is derived from commandments found in the Qur’an, the holy book of Islam, as well as the Hadith and Sunnah, libraries cataloging things the Islamic prophet Muhammad is reported to have said and done. Extensions of these rulings are issued, as fatwas, by mujtahids, with varying degrees of strictness, but they are not always widely held to be authoritative.
According to the Quran, the only foods explicitly forbidden are meat from animals that die of themselves, blood, the meat of pigs, and any food dedicated to other than God.(Alchohol is forbidden in islam)
However, a person would not be guilty of sin in a situation where the lack of any alternative creates an undesired necessity to consume that which is otherwise unlawful. (Quran 2:173) This is the “law of necessity” in Islamic jurisprudence: “That which is necessary makes the forbidden permissible.”

    During Thanks Giving Holidays….
    i Might Never Have Come to Approach

    And oh the Temptation to over indulge in what
    Finally Tastes Good in all the way that comes
    in Pleasurable Stimulation from Head
    to Toe of Course.. and yes.. the
    Crutch of External
    Substances
    to Escape
    Life Like
    Alcohol and
    Cigarettes that
    are Legal here but even
    in many ways more Harmful
    than what is not legal for Additional
    External Sources to Escape a Discontentment
    of Life.. Surely Dancing And Free Verse Write
    Takes the Place of all of that when i am
    Surely in Balance of Mind and
    Body as Purer Soul…
    But i must
    Say.. Since
    my Taste
    is Coming Back
    Normal i cannot count
    the Number of Pieces of Pie
    i Have Eaten and other Delicious
    Thanks Giving Treats but it’s True
    The Scale that Weighs me NoW Does not
    Gaslight my Life With Alternative ‘Trump’ FActs
    heHe.. to use a Political Pun on the Tongues
    of Common Sense aS Beauty and Wisdom
    in TrutH and LiGht ARound the
    World Away from
    Lies Still
    in
    Food and Drink
    and other stuff that
    May Seem Okay at the
    Moment of Instant Gratification
    but surely can lead to not only
    OverWeight but the Potential
    Ignorance of Distaste
    of
    A World
    War III Still to
    come.. unless Folks
    Wake uP and SaY NO..
    overheAR where it counts
    in the Taste and Fill of Votes..
    Anyway.. as any Sour Taste will Bring
    i am Quite Disgusted NoW alMost Beyond
    Belief iN the Lies aS Taste American Politics BRings Today..
    yet.. sure.. i Am Still Giving Thanks For Free American Pie..
    And after the last Four Pieces are Gone in the Left Over
    Tray as Katrina currently has no taste for Pie.. Pie
    Will Leave My Life at Least Until Christmas Next..;)
