  1. JESUS NEVER CALLS HIMSELF GOD

The Bible contains many verses in which Jesus speaks of God as a separate person to himself. Here are just a few of them:

When a man addressed Jesus as ‘Good Teacher’, he replied ‘Why do you call me good? No one is good except the one God.” [Mark 10:18]

    In another instance he says:

I can’t do anything by myself. Whatever I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just. I don’t seek my own will but the will of the one who sent me. [John 5:30]

Jesus speaks of God as a separate being to himself:

I’m going up to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God. [John 20:17]

In this verse he affirms that he was sent by God:

This is eternal life: to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you sent. [John 17:3]

If Jesus was God he would have told people to worship him, but he did the opposite and disapproved anyone worshipping him:

And in vain they worship Me [Matthew 15:9]

If Jesus claimed to be God than there should be hundreds of verses in the Bible which would have mentioned it. But there is not a single verse in the entire Bible in which Jesus says I am God, worship me.

  2. The truth is that Jesus preached the same message that the Prophets in the Old Testament preached. There is a passage in the Bible which really emphasises his core message. A man came to Jesus and asked ‘Which is the first commandment of all?’ Jesus answered,

The first of all the commandments is Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. [Mark 12:28-29]

  3. JESUS IN ISLAM

The Islamic belief about Jesus demystifies for us who the real Jesus was. Jesus in Islam was an extraordinary individual, chosen by God as a Prophet and sent to the Jewish people. He never preached that he himself was God or the actual son of God. He was miraculously born without a father, and he performed many amazing miracles such as healing the blind and the lepers and raising the dead all by God’s permission. Muslims believe that Jesus will return before the day of Judgement to bring justice and peace to the world. This Islamic belief about Jesus is similar to the belief of some of the early Christians. In the Quran, God addresses the Christians about Jesus in the following way:

O People of the Book, do not commit excesses in your religion, and do not say anything about God except the truth: the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was nothing more than a messenger of God, His word, directed to Mary and a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His Messengers and do not speak of a Trinity stop [this], that is better for you. God is only one God, He is far above having a son, everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Him and He is the best one to trust.

    Holy Qur’an [4:171]

    1. Imran Ali …
The word (thank you) is very little to express my gratitude ..
You added a lot and you are still ..
May Allah grant you heaven in your life and in the hereafter..
      Thanks a lot dear brother
Respect and love from your sister Soheir:-)♧♣

    2. With respect Imran Ali I cannot agree with you that God “is far above having a son,” or that Jesus was “nothing more than a messenger of God.” Matthew 3: 16-17 states: “As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 17And a voice from heaven said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.’ ”
I am sure you are far more learn-ed a man than I, as a humble God-fearing woman am, and my understanding of spiritual matters and the Bible, and most certainly the Holy Qur’an is miniscule compared to your own, but my heart would not let me rest unless I mentioned this verse to you.
May the blessings of Allah fill your heart with joy this day 🙂

  4. Hi SOHEIR..

i watch the entire video.. and if this is just the interpretation of the Quran.. including an equal respect for women.. it is truly a beautiful way to live.. from what is see..

Love is the bottom line.. sadly.. fear is the Devil.. in all ways fear is incorporated into Life.. so no.. i cannot agree with some of the dogma.. but i am very happy that narrator realizes that my Ancestors.. the Sioux and the Lakota.. of American Indian heritage are truly the first historical people’s to believe in ONE GOD.. as the GREAT SPIRIT..

HUMANS cannot fit God in one word only.. or one language.. or one religion and this is what i mean about God pecks out the eyes of prophets that humans come to worship as men instead of messengers.. that’s not a literal statement.. of course.. as i have great respect for all prophets who humble themselves to the much greater reality that is God over human.. It is only when they are made more than human that lies come…

Human manifests God’s power within.. outside.. above.. below and all around.. but it is never the full manifestation of all the glory of GOD that lives ALL as ONE GOD..

The danger is always when humans attempt to suggest they know and feel all the being of GOD as they are a reflection.. but never the full Light and Truth of GOD that will always be above the understanding of human..

We humans have always attempted to use symbols
to express the Truth and Light of GOD of ALL..
    but we always fall
    short
    of the
    Glory of GOD..
    ALL of WE humans
    from the first to the
    last who will ever
    exist on this
    terrestrial plane..
    owe our lives to
    GOD as lives are only
    gifts to cherish
    and offer
    up to
    the potentials
    gifted to
    us
    by the
    Grace of
    GOD..
    i speak
    from
    spirit
    not
    from intellect
    my friend..
    in planning
    way.. GOD
    flows in
    US..
    ALL from
    the first Indians
    who are indigenous
    peoples of this planet
    to the last Indians who
    will always be indigenous
    beings
    AS
    children of
    GOD.. where GOD
    always lives in the
    open hearts.. spirits..
    and souls.. of humans
    on
    desert
    isles..
But anyway.. i assess a religion
by the people who follow it
    in ways of Love and
    never the
    religion
    or country
    alone.. i can
    disagree with you
    about these things
    and you will still unconditionally
Love me as friend.. and that my
    friend is my
    definition
    of both
    Christian and
    Jesus ..one who Loves
    GOD.. first with all their
    heart.. spirit.. and soul..
    and mind and body
    incorporated as
    temple of GOD too..
    one who respects
    and Loves themselves
the same as well as one
    who respects and Loves all
    others no matter differences
    of opinions.. as worthy children
of GOD… as WE ALL ARE REGARDLESS
    OF RELIGION.. NATIONALITY.. GENERAL
    DISABILITY.. SEXUAL ORIENTATION..
    ETHNICITY IN SKIN COLOR..
    AND ALL OTHER DIFFERENCES
    FROM ALPHA TO OMEGA..
    sadly few religions will
    incorporate ALL into
    GOD’s reality
    as children
    of GOD
and that is where i for one
    separate paths.. as i have
seen the face of GOD close
up and personal… and i am
    both Angel and Devil/Jinn/Demon
    in one life and have
    visited both Hell and
Heaven in one life as well..
    so i know these metaphors
    for Angels
    and Devil/Jinn/Demons
as well as hell and heaven
    are not just myths.. they
    are symbols for human
    reality no different
    than
    GOD
    is REAL
    and evident
    in ALL OF
    NATURE..
    NO SANTA
    CLAUS.. NO
    ONLY SON OF GOD..
THE GOD OF ALL THAT IS..
AND IF I AM WORTHY TO
    BE IN GOD’S KINGDOM
    NOW.. i am the least
    and all others
    are greater
    than me..
    and that
    my friend
    is THE REAL
    MESSAGE OF JESUS
    AS WELL.. AS GOD SPEAKS
    AS PARENT OF ALL.. EVEN
    US DEVILS/JINN/DEMONS
    AND LUCIFER INCARNATE
    IF YOU WILL.. AS METAPHOR
    ONLY OF COURSE..
    IN OTHER WORDS..
    THERE IS NO SEPARATION
    ANYWHERE THERE IS ONLY
ONE GOD.. all else is human
    lies.. illusions.. and of course
    metaphor for Truth.. which are
for the deeper seeing eyes that
    can read the prophets hearts..
    spirits.. and souls..
    and not just
    their
    words
    alone
    as
    literal….
    sMiLEs friend ..
    i appreciate you..
    and truly from my heart
the saddest part of the Muslim
religion as it is practiced in some
areas of patriarchy rule over women
as less than human.. IS that.. if ISA
is born again.. with no earthly
father.. which i do not believe
God has to do magic tricks
    beyond Nature to
    convince me GOD
    is REAL..
    THAT sadly
    enough.. ISA will
    not be able to
    come again
    like this
    in these
    areas for
    more than
    obvious reasons..
    and those are the
    areas OF DOGMA
    where i diverge.. but
    NEVER THE LESS I WILL
    NEVER THROW THE LOVE
    BABY OUT.. ‘CAUSE OF SOME
    DIFFERENCES IN OPINION OR
    HISTORICAL REFERENCES OF RELIGION
and that my friend is why i still visit the
Catholic Church for over two years now..
since i am healed from Devil and Hell..
but i will never worship Jesus..
i will hear his words as teacher..
    but he will be steaming
    angry like a lion..
    if he ever does
    come back
    to find
    that he is both
    worshipped and humans
    have killed in his memory
    as not a humble prophet
    teacher.. but the Soldier GOD
    of Roman
    Emperor
    Constantine
    and his Catholic
    psychopathic
    Patriarchal leaning
    cohorts .. in that now..
    of 325 AD.. my friend..
    So i silence my voice
    when those words in church
come.. but i keep the love of GoD..
myself.. and others sAMe no matter
what the different opinions are that
come beyond what GOD speaks to
me FACE TO FACE AS ANGEL
    AND
    DEVIL with GOD..
    AND SURE.. THERE IS
    A KARMA TO PAY
    FOR ALL
    HARM
    DONE
    TO OTHERS
    IN THIS LIFE NOW..
    I KNOW.. FEEL.. AND
    UNFEEL.. THE BURNING
    PLACE OF PENANCE
    ALL
    TOO
    WELL
    AS REAL..
    AS HELL..
    AND I FOR
    ONE WILL ALWAYS
    SUBMIT MYSELF TO
    GOD AS NO
    GREATER
    THAN
    A
    GRAIN
    OF
    SAND..
    AND SURE..
    MUHAMMAD
    BUDDHA.. LAO TZU..
    JESUS.. AND ALL THE OTHER
    PEOPLE OF GOD’s eYes WiLL
    DO THE
    SamE..
    as far as i
    see.. as
    grain
    of
    sand..:)
    Peace and Blessings
    to you my friend
    and i Love you..
    and you know sadly
    i have Muslim
    friends who are
    women who Love
    me as friend..
    but who will
    never tell me in
    words..
    as they fear
    their religion
    over GOD..
    in saying
    that to
    a male..
    but you
    and other
    Muslims do
    see deeper
    with
    eyes
    of fearless
    LOVE
    from
    GOD
    with GOD’s
    Loving Nature..
    as gift of human..
    GOD’s Love in human
    is tough.. passionate..
    and unconditional
    and it has little to
    do with human reproduction..
i am married but live a celibate
life to be closer with GOD
    as ‘priest’ without
    children or clerical collar..
    but that is between GOD
    and me..
    and no
    religion..
    EVER
    ALONE..
    GOD ALLONE
    IS ALL i FOR
    one need..
    on my desert
    Isle.. with friends..
    smiles.. my friend..:)

  5. Hi Fred:-)
    Always enjoy your talk
As I said before you have your unique philosophy..and your own thinking..I respect that ..Although our beliefs are different and somehow alike ( smiles)..
I think those women who love you and can’t say that …I think that has no relation with Islam….I am sure it is because their traditions and what they brought up on…
In Egypt and in the all Eastern area a woman can’t express her brotherly love because she is afraid of misunderstanding ..We have christians here in Egypt and they have the same traditions as well
When I deal with a man who is open minded ..I can express my love in words without a fear of misunderstanding..
Sadly those men are few…not only in the eastern area but also in America which is supposed to be the state of freedom..
    Thanks Fred
    You are crazy
And I like your craziness( smiles):-)♧♣

  7.  Prophet Muhammad in the Bible:Aside from the thorough articles in this section below, I demonstrated in my debate how Prophet Muhammad was Prophesied in the Bible [12], and how he is the Final and Special Prophet that was going to be sent to all of mankind, according to the Bible itself. The Bible in the Old and New Testaments made DIRECT Prophecies about:
The Prophet who will come from the “EAST”. The Bible defined “EAST” to mean Arabia, and the lands of Kedar and Teman (Saudi Arabia today). The Prophet who will come from “Arabia”The Prophet who will come from the lands and “tents of Kedar” and “lands of Teman”.  Kedar and Teman (also called”Tema” in the Bible) are two of Ishmael’s sons: Genesis 25:13-15The Prophet who will “crush the idols of the deserts of Kedar”The Prophet who will “fight the idol worshipers” in the deserts of Kedar. The people of Kedar will Glorify GOD Almighty, and GOD will Glorify His Holy Temple “in Kedar””Arabia will rejoice and blossom”The Prophet who will come from the “Desert”. Again, the Bible also defined the “Desert” to mean the lands of Arabia, Kedar and Teman. The Prophet of the “New Law” & “New Covenant”, whom the Jews “must not fear”The Prophet who is “like Moses”.  Both Muhammad and Moses brought new Laws.  There is the Law of Moses, which the entire Bible is built on, and there is the Law of the Holy Quran, which Islam is built on.Also in the New Testament, Christ is recorded to have said this to the Jews: “So [For this reason; Therefore] I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to people [a nation] who do the things God wants in his kingdom [will produce its fruit].” (Matthew 21:43).  Jesus Christ here spoke about foreign people; non-Jews.  Jesus was a Jew and was speaking with Jews.  Read more…

    –  By the way, the “Kingdom of God” here means  on earth to the new nation.

    –  John 1:19-21 John was asked if he were the Messiah, Elijah, and then “The Prophet”: John 1:21.
    –  John 7:40-44, Jesus was supposed to come from David’s line, while the Prophet was NOT.  He was a foreigner.

    1. John 1:19-21
John the Baptist Tells People About Jesus
19 Here is the ·truth  told [testimony John gave; witness of John; 1:6] when the ·leaders [Jewish leadership; L Jews; C John often uses the term “Jews” to refer to the religious leaders in opposition to Jesus, rather than to the Jewish people generally] in Jerusalem sent ·priests and Levites [C the religious authorities; priests oversaw temple worship; Levites were members of the tribe of Levi who assisted them; 1 Chr. 23:24–32] Who are you?”

20 John ·spoke freely [confessed] and did not ·refuse to answer [deny it]. He said, “I am not the ·Christ [Messiah].”
21 So they asked him, “Then who are you? ?” [C Elijah, an OT prophet, was expected to come back before the Messiah; 1 Kin. 17—2 Kin. 2; Mal. 4:5–6.]

He answered, “No, I am not.”

“Are you the Prophet?” [C the Prophet like Moses predicted in Deut. 18:15–19] they asked.
      He answered, “No.”

      John 7:40-44
      The People Argue About Jesus
40 When the people heard Jesus’ words, some of them said, “This man really is the Prophet [1:21; C the “prophet like Moses” of Deut. 18:15–18].”
41 He is the ·Christ [Messiah].” Still others said, “The ·Christ [Messiah] will not come from Galilee.

42 The Scripture says that the ·Christ [Messiah] will come from David’s ·family [offspring; L seed; 2 Sam. 7:12–16; Ps. 89:3–4; Is. 9:7; 55:3] and from Bethlehem, the ·town [village] where David lived [Mic. 5:2].”
43 So ·the people did not agree with each other [L there was a division in the crowd] about Jesus.
44 Some of them wanted to ·arrest [seize] him, but no one was able to ·touch [L lay a hand on] him.

      1.  An Arabian Prophet was expected by the Jews of ArabiaFrom some of the Muslim sources, see the following references:

“Bring forward the most learned among you before me.”  When that man came forward, he and Muhammad spoke in private.  Finally Muhammad asked him, “Do you know that I am the Apostle of Allah?”  The rabbi answered, “By Allah! Yes, and the people know what I know.  , but they are jealous of you.”  (History of Muhammad Ibn Sa’d, Volume I, Pages 188)

“…and he is the Prophet of these people; he is an Arab and the Jews are jealous of himwishing that he should have been …”  (History of Muhammad Ibn Sa’d, Volume I, Pages 177)
Also, see the other great Arabian Prophets in the Bible.Jesus will return from Arabia in Matthew 24:25-27.

  8. masha’Allah, this is one of my favorite topics – especially since I am the only Muslim in my very large and otherwise totally Christian family. Jazakum Allah khair, may Allah bless you, Sheikh Yusuf Estes, and all the commenters for this great post. When my family members like to argue with me about Jesus, I simply ask them, “Who did Jesus (alaihi salam) pray to?” – that usually stops the argument right there, subhan’Allah!
Very happy to find your blog – greetings and salams from your sis in egypt ;^) ❤
